Fresh off his win on Celebrity Apprentice, Bret Michaels returned to TV Wednesday night, appearing on the season finale of American Idol.
Presumably still disregarding doctors' orders to get some rest, the Poison frontman performed a duet with Casey James, who was the third-place finisher on this year's Idol. They sang the classic 1988 hit "Every Rose Has Its Thorn."
Michaels appeared on the live finale of Celebrity Apprentice on Sunday, where Donald Trump named him this year's winner. This after doctors told him to stay home following the life-threatening health problems he has suffered lately. In the last few weeks, Michaels has been treated for a brain hemorrhage, a minor stroke and a hole in his heart.
Wednesday's Idol saw Lee DeWyze named the latest winner. It also marked the final episode for judge Simon Cowell.
