Richie Sambora has launched a fashion label with Los Angeles designer Nikki Lund.

The label is called White Trash Beautiful and is currently producing only women's items. Only Sambora and bandmate Jon Bon Jovi have items from the possibly-forthcoming men's line.

In an interview with Vogue magazine, Sambora said of the label, which was launched in California in March, "We didn't want it to be JLo's perfume or Beyoncé's cologne — this is a clothing line. It's serious and, ultimately, we will do a men's line — we've made a jacket for Jon."

He also noted, "I can't wait to do menswear range. A lot of men's clothes are quite boring and I want to bring some excitement back into fashion for them. At the moment, we've created some clothes just for me to wear and I'm getting so many compliments that I know there is a need for our men's clothes and hopefully the range would be just as successful."

The collection will be available for sale in the U.K. later this month.
