American Greetings Corp. (AM: Quote) traded in a range until around 1:15PM Tuesday, but then spiked sharply to the downside. The stock continued to decline until around mid-afternoon and finished lower by 1.15 at $16.68 on the highest volume of the year.
American Greetings has been losing ground for the past week and closed Tuesday at a new low for the year.
