BAE Systems plc (BA.L) has been awarded $58.24 million cost-plus-fixed-fee, cost-plus-incentive-fee contract from U.S. Navy, the U.S. Department of Defense announced Friday. The contract is expected to be complete on September 30, 2012.
This contract will provide Systems Engineering Integration support for the TRIDENT II (D5) Strategic Weapon System Program and the SSGN Attack Weapon System Program and Ohio Replacement Program and United Kingdom Successor Common Missile Compartment Program.
Also, BAE Systems Land & Armaments/Tactical Wheeled Vehicles, Sealy, Texas, received $22.2 million for delivery order for the procurement of outside the continental United States field service representatives and mechanics. Work will be performed in Afghanistan, and is expected to be completed by Dec. 31, 2012.
BAE Systems, Land and Armaments Division, Minneapolis is being awarded an $11.7 million cost-plus-fixed-fee navy contract for research and development activities associated with Integrated Power Systems power load modules design. Work will be performed in Minneapolis,San Diego and Dayton and is expected to be complete by December 2016.
