Lady Gaga has teamed up with Harvard University to launch an anti-bullying charity, the Born This Way Foundation, and the group will host an event at the university's Sanders Theatre on February 29.
At the event will be Gaga's other partners in the endeavor: Harvard's Berkman Center for Internet and Society, the MacArthur Foundation and the California Endowment.
The charity will focus on building self-confidence and inducing well-being in those youths which are susceptible to the discourteous intrusions of the bully class.
The Mother Monster's own mother, Cynthia Germanotta, issued a statement regarding the aims and mission of the foundation:
"My daughter's foundation was born out of her passion to create a better world where people are kinder and nicer to one another and are accepted for who they are, regardless of how different they may be."
