Crosby, Stills and Nash members David Crosby and Graham Nash will be appearing on a forthcoming Occupy Wall Street album.
The two join a varied and large lineup of artists on Occupy This Album: A Compilation of Music By, For and Inspired by the Occupy Wall Street Movement and the 99% - which is dedicated to the Occupy movement that began in the financial district of New York on September 17, 2011. All proceeds from album sales will directly benefit the movement.
Other artists contributing tracks to the album include Willie Nelson, Yoko Ono, Debbie Harry, Devo, Jackson Browne, Tom Morello, Thievery Corporation, MOGWAI, Third Eye Blind, Ladytron, Our Lady Peace, Warren Haynes, Yo La Tengo, Lucinda Williams, The Guthrie Family, Toots and the Maytals, Loudon Wainwright III, and DJ Logic, as well as a contribution by filmmaker Michael Moore.
Jason Samel, Maegan Hayward, Alex Emanuel and Shirley Menard will produce the record.
Crosby and Nash (along with band member Stills) have been politically vocal since their beginnings and have protested causes and events since the Vietnam War.
