Monica hit up Honda's Battle of the Bands in Atlanta over the weekend to perform two of her hits, "Don't Take It Personal" and "Anything (to Find You)."
The event took place at the Georgia Dome where 60,000 onlookers watched the nation's top marching bands duke it out for top honors. Monica provided halftime entertainment at the 10th annual event.
Monica revealed, via Twitter, that her latest album, New Life, is "coming soon." Previously, her label, RCA Records, announced an early spring release date.
The first single, "It All Belongs to Me," a duet with Brandy, is set for release on February 6. The track was produced by Rico Love who said it is a departure from the pair's 1998 smash single, "The Boy Is Mine":
"I definitely don't want to compare it. I will let other people do that but I just know that it's a great song . . . It's very fly, very mature, very grown up."
