Guidance Software Inc. (GUID) reported fourth quarter non-GAAP EPS of $0.16 after the close Tuesday, up from $0.05 in the prior year period. The company expects to report full year 2012 non-GAAP EPS between $0.35 and $0.42.
Guidance Software gapped up sharply Wednesday and climbed during the second half of the morning. Shares advanced further around mid-afternoon and closed higher by 2.66 at $10.45 on the highest volume of the year. The stock surged past resistance and set a new high for the year.
