Slash has confirmed his second solo release is due out on May 22. The album, which is still untitled, will once again feature vocals from Alter Bridge's Myles Kennedy.
During a recent interview with Glide magazine, Kennedy says it's been a thrill working with Slash again:
". . . it's fun because hearing the songs come together with the whole band is always kind of a big thrill, you know when you're writing and creating. Slash and I have been trading demos back and forth for better part of a year . . . It's like making little sonic babies," Kennedy says.
Myles says that, as much chemistry as he has with Slash, it's still hard for him to let go of the songs when they're finished:
"I'm funny that way. I'm never sure until the record's done. I'm always afraid to kind of be content 'cause I'm afraid if there's a second where I'm content I'll stop working as hard so I'll just obsess."
