Robin Thicke Earns JUNO Nomination

Robin Thicke has earned a nomination at this year's Junos, the Canadian version of the Grammys.

The soul maestro was nominated in the R&B/Soul Recording of the Year category for his track "Gone and Never Coming Back" featuring Lil' Wayne and Melanie Fiona.

Thicke faces stiff competition in the category from Fiona, JRDN, Jully Black and Karl Wolfe.

Artists to receive multiple nods from the Canadian Academy of Recording Arts and Sciences include Drake, Feist, Nickelback, City and Colour, Hedley and Mangan with four apiece.

The ceremony will also honor non-Canadian talent in the International Album of the Year award for which Adele, Coldplay, Lady Gaga, LMFAO and Rihanna will contend.

The Juno Awards, hosted by William Shatner, air on CTV Sunday, April 1 from Scotiabank Place in Ottawa, Ontario.
