Beyoncé and Jay-Z have released photos of their month-old baby girl, Blue Ivy Carter.
One photo pictures Bey smiling with the infant, while another is a close-up of the recumbent child and yet another depicts Jigga smiling and holding the baby.
A note attached to the Tumblr site helloblueivycarter reads: "We welcome you to share in our joy. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this beautiful time in our lives." The note is signed "The Carter family."
The pair have also filed an application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office on January 26 to own the name "Blue Ivy," according to the Washington Post.
The filing was made after two entrepreneurs were turned down by the office for similar filings. Beyoncé and J married in 2008 and Blue Ivy is their first child.
