Slash Announces U.S. Tour Dates


Slash has announced the dates of his upcoming U.S. tour. The former Guns N' Roses guitarist will kick off his U.S. jaunt in Baltimore on May 3, with subsequent shows in cities including Charlotte, Orlando, Biloxi, Mississippi; Kansas City, Indianapolis, Minneapolis, Madison, Wisoconsin; Grand Rapids, Michigan; Columbus, Ohio; Camden, New Jersey and Pryor, Oklahoma before wrapping up on May 26 in Albuquerque. The tour also includes festival appearances at the Carolina Rebellion on May 5 and at Rocklahoma on May 25.

He will be backed by singer Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators.

The guitar hero's as-yet-untitled second album will be released on May 22. He will be playing at the 70th birthday celebrations for boxing great Muhammad Ali in Las Vegas on February 18, where he will be joined by Stevie Wonder, Sean Combs, Chris Cornell, Lenny Kravitz, LL Cool J, Common, Snoop Dogg, former President Bill Clinton, Oprah Winfrey, actors Anthony Hopkins and James Gandolfini, among others.
