Julie Taymor, the one time director for the "Spiderman: Turn off the Dark" musical, has settled a lawsuit with the show's producers.
Claiming that her rights were violated and that she had been unfairly compensated, she hit the producers with a suit asking for $1 million in damages.
The producers, in turn, hit Taymor with a counter-suit, alleging Taymor had not done satisfactory work.
Now, Taymor's attorney has released a statement saying that the suit has been settled:
"The litigation between us is over, and we are hopeful that any remaining issues between the producer and Ms. Taymor regarding her role as author can also be resolved to the satisfaction of all."
Last month "Spider-Man" opened on Broadway, breaking previous records and making it the single week highest grossing show ever.
