The Beatles have teamed with iTunes once again in order to make a number of their songs available for purchase as ringtones. There will be 27 songs to pick from, all taken from their 1 collection.
The entirety of the Beatles' 2000 compilation album, 1, has been converted into 30-second iTunes ringtones, the band announced this week. The set includes from "Love Me Do," "I Want to Hold Your Hand," "Paperback Writer," "Yellow Submarine," "Hey Jude" and "The Ballad of John and Yoko."
The move to make their songs available as ringtones continues the Beatles' complete 180 on selling their songs digitally. It wasn't until 2010 that the mop-tops finally approved their albums' sale on iTunes. Within a week, they sold more than 450,000 full-lengths and 2 million digital tracks.
