The 84th Academy Awards will celebrate the best films of 2011 this Sunday and is brought by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts And Sciences. This year's ceremony is being hosted by Billy Crystal.
For best picture this year's nominations include "The Artist, "The Descendants," "Extremely Loud & Incredibly Close," "The Help," "Hugo," "Moneyball," "The Tree of Life," "War Horse" and "Midnight in Paris."
The nominations for best director include Woody Allen (Midnight in Paris), Michel Hazanavicius ("The Artist"), Terrence Malick ("The Tree of Life"), Alexander Payne ("The Descendants") and Martin Scorsese ("Hugo").
This year's Oscars take place Sunday, February 26 at the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, California and will air live at 4 p.m. PST and 7 p.m. EST.
