Rob Corddry Will Return For 'Community' Finale

NBC has revealed that "Children's Hospital" star Rob Corddry will return to "Community" for the finale of the upcoming season. The show is set to return on March 15 and Corddry will reprise his guest role as Alan Connor, a nemesis of Joel McHale's character Jeff Winger.

Earlier this week network execs announced the show's return and it's new time slot at 8:00 p.m. It will takeover the slot currently held by "30 Rock," which will move back a half an hour. The show's fate was in question after it was put on hiatus last fall.

"Community" will join a slate of new comedy programming for the network, says Bob Greenblatt, NBC entertainment chief:

"We are happy to have an unprecedented amount of original content on NBC this spring. "Bent, Best Friends Forever and Betty White's Off Their Rockers are welcome additions to the Wednesday schedule, and we know that the loyal fans of Community will be pleased with its return to its home on Thursdays at 8:00 p.m."
