Nordson Corp. gapped open higher Friday and spiked to the upside in early trade. The stock settled into a range for the remainder of the session and closed higher by 3.63 at $54.46, with volume at an 8-month high. Nordson has been on an upward trend for the last month and a half and closed at a 7-month high.
