General John R. Allen, Commander of the International Security Assistance Force, condemned the attack at the Afghan Ministry of Interior that killed two coalition officers. The Commander also informed that all ISAF personnel working in ministries in and around Kabul were recalled for force protection reasons.
The Commander confirmed that ISAF is committed to its partnership with the Government of Afghanistan to reach common goal of a stable and secure Afghanistan in the near future.
On Saturday, an individual killed two International Security Assistance Force service members in Kabul City. "The perpetrator of this attack is a coward whose actions will not go unanswered", said Allen.
