An earth quake of 5.9 magnitude hit Kaohsiung city in Taiwan on Sunday, reports said.
The quake's epicenter was located 35 miles east of Kaohsiung with a depth of 2.9 miles.
There were no immediate reports of casualties or major material damage. However, rail services were suspended temporarily.
