Innospec Appoints Milton Blackmore As Chairman

Innospec Inc. (IOSP) announced the appointment of Milton Blackmore as Chairman of its Board effective as of May 9, 2012. Blackmore has been on the Board of Directors of Innospec since June 2010 and will take up the role of Chairman at the Annual Meeting in May, succeeding Bob Bew, who is retiring from the Board at that time.

U.S. food maker Kraft Heinz Co., which had offered $143 billion in cash and stock to buy Anglo-Dutch consumer goods company Unilever, Sunday said it has amicably agreed to withdraw its proposal for a combination of the two companies. Dairy giant Saputo Inc. is voluntarily recalling certain Gouda cheese products in the U.S. due to potential listeria contamination.
