Carrie Underwood released her new single "Good Girl" to iTunes and radio last week; she commemorated the release with a performance of the track on Thursday, February 24 during Sony Music Nashville's annual concert aboard the General Jackson showboat.
The track is the lead single from the Grammy winner's upcoming fourth studio effort; it has already debuted in the top five iTunes downloads.
Underwood also announced she joined Twitter last week. She confirmed her presence with a brief message: "Hello Twitter world!" She already has over 86,000 followers.
She also found time to praise husband and Nashville Predator, Mike Fisher on a recent win:
"That #12 was looking HOT," she shared.
Her yet to be titled album is due May 1.
