Jack White has announced that he will perform at Belgium's Rock Werchter festival. It is the second European solo performance he has revealed for the summer including an appearance at Radio 1's Hackney Weekend.
The Werchter fest takes place in Rotselaar from June 28 to July 1 and features a bevy of big names including Noel Gallagher's High Flying Birds, Chase and Status, Pearl Jam, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Florence And The Machine, Justice, the Cure, Elbow, Snow Patrol, Blink-182, Kasabian, Deadmau5 and Skrillex. The fest features three stages including a main stage, electronic dance tent and another, yet to be named tent.
White's debut solo effort, Blunderbuss, is due April 23 via Third Man Records/XL.
On March 3 he will be the musical guest on Saturday Night Live in support of his forthcoming album.
