"Glee" creator Ryan Murphy is reportedly developing a new comedy titled "One Hit Wonders" in association with Sony Pictures. Gwyneth Paltrow, Reese Witherspoon, Cameron Diaz, Beyoncé and Andy Samberg are all rumored to be in negotiations to appear in the picture.
According to deadline.com, the film will center on Paltrow, Witherspoon and Diaz, who appear as sisters who all hit radio singles at earlier points in their career. After they see the limelight begin to fade they join together to form a supergroup.
Murphy will reportedly pen the script along with his fellow "Glee" writers Brad Falchuk and Ian Brennan. The report from deadline.com also notes that Murphy generated the idea for the film with Witherspoon and Diaz after the three met over dinner.
