Bazaarvoice, Inc. (BV: Quote) said Wednesday that it has closed its initial public offering of shares of its common stock and that the underwriters have exercised their option to purchase an additional about 1.4 million shares of common stock.
As a result, the total initial public offering size was about 10.9 million shares, which consisted of 10.4 million shares sold by Bazaarvoice and about 0.5 million shares sold by selling stockholders.
The net proceeds to Bazaarvoice from its sale of 10,422,645 shares were aabout $116.3 million after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions. Bazaarvoice did not receive any proceeds from the sale of shares by the selling stockholders.
