Kohl's Feb. Same-store Sales Down

Department stores chain Kohl's Corp. (KSS) said its February same-store sales declined 0.8 percent, while total monthly sales were $1.173 billion, up 1.1 percent from $1.161 billion last year.

The company said its cold weather regions - Midwest and Northeast - outperformed its average for the month, and accessories, Men's and Children's reported positive comparable store sales.

KSS closed Wednesday's regular trading at $49.68.
