Rascal Flatts member Jay DeMarcus and his wife Allison have announced they will be having a baby boy this summer.
The singer made the announcement on Twitter earlier this week, just one month after telling fans he and his wife were expecting.
"For those of you asking ... Yes, it's true!!! Ali and I are having a baby boy!!!," Jay tweeted. "He's due August 1st!!! Whew!!! Gonna have a house full!"
DeMarcus says he is doing all he can to prepare for the birth of his second child.
"I just want to make sure I will do the best job I can," he told GAC. "We've spent a lot of time reading books and watching videos and a lot of online research -- and watching [bandmates Gary LeVox and Joe Don Rooney] figuring out what not to do!"
The band is currently promoting their forthcoming album Changed, which hits stores on April 3.
