Keith Richards has posted a new video message online in which he recounts his activities from the past weekend.
The video, which Richards recoded on a private plane ride home, depicts the legendary Rolling Stones guitarist talking about Chuck Berry being honored as one of the first two recipients of the PEN New England's Song Lyrics of Literary Excellence Award.
"It's Sunday and I just got back from Boston to honor Chuck Berry," explained Richards. "Chuck's my man. I just had a great afternoon with him; he got an award for literary excellence - I've always said he's Shakespeare with a guitar around his neck. He finally got his due today. I had a great time with him."
Berry was honored alongside Leonard Cohen at an awards event which took place at the John F. Kennedy Library in Boston.
