A Southern Indiana toddler found in a field after a tornado killed her family members died Sunday after she was taken off life support.
15-month-old Angel Babcock succumbed to traumatic brain injuries she suffered after a tornado ripped through her family's home in New Pekin, Indiana.
Last week, powerful storms slammed through five states. Angel's passing raises the death toll to at least 39.
Angel's mother, father and two siblings were killed during the storm. They were 21-year-old Joseph Babcock, 20-year-old Moriah Brough and two of their children, 2-year-old Jaydon and 2-month-old Kendall.
Angel was found in critical condition on Friday and taken to Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
The blonde hair, blue eyed toddler was reportedly surrounded by family members at the hospital.
