Lionel Richie will perform at his own tribute special, ACM Presents: Lionel Richie and Friends in Concert—a Lifetime of Hits.
A host of big names are scheduled to join Richie on stage including Tim McGraw, Jennifer Nettles, Luke Bryan, Sara Evans, Kenny Chesney, Jason Aldean, Lady Antebellum, Kenny Rogers, Rascal Flatts, the Band Perry and Martina McBride.
"I didn't know there was new and old," Richie said regarding his penchant for collaborating with several generations of country acts. "All I knew was that these are country artists and everybody's on board."
Lionel Richie and Friends airs on April 13 on CBS following the Academy of Country Music Awards. His album Tuskegee, due March 27, features duets with Chesney, Shania Twain, Blake Shelton, Kenny Rogers, Willie Nelson and more.
