Air France-KLM SA (AF.PA,AFRAF.PK) Wednesday posted a 6.2 percent rise in February passenger traffic, thanks to a 2.5 percent growth in capacity and a 2.8 percentage point improvement in load factor. Passenger volume went up 5 percent to 5.34 million, the company added.
The Americas registered a 13 percent climb in traffic and a 6.1 percentage point uptick in load factor. Traffic in Europe was up 4.9 percent despite the impact of strike actions. Load factor for the European network went up 2.4 percentage points.
