Miley Cyrus Responds To Twitter Attacks

Miley Cyrus came under a heavy barrage of tweet fire after she posted her musings on the origin of the universe, which a contingent of her evangelical followers found blasphemous.

"You are all stardust. You couldn't be here if stars hadn't exploded, because the elements (carbon, nitrogen, oxygen, all the things that matter for evolution) weren't created at the beginning of time. They were created in stars. So forget Jesus. Stars died so you can live," the pop phenom posted to Twitter.

In return, Cyrus was hit with a volley of tweets from Christians, including several telling her to go to hell.

She noted that the tenor of the responses were un-Christian:

"How can people take the love out of science and bring hate into religion so easily?," adding a quote from Einstein: "Science without religion is lame. Religion without science is blind."
