Tyler Technologies Acquires UniFund - Quick Facts

Tyler Technologies Inc. (TYL) announced that it has acquired UniFund, L.L.C. UniFund provides enterprise resource planning solutions to schools and local governments. UniFund, located in Nashua, N.H., is also a reseller of Tyler's Infinite Visions school enterprise solution.

As a result of the transaction, UniFund's more than 250 BudgetSense clients — located throughout the Northeast — will become Tyler customers and its approximately 30 employees will join Tyler.

UniFund had total revenues of about $5.5 million in 2011. UniFund's programs and services will be integrated into Tyler operations and branding during the coming months.

Tintri Inc. will reportedly not hold its initial public offering on Thursday as planned, with the enterprise cloud platform company changing its decision at the last minute. According to media reports, Tintri simply said that plans for its listing on Thursday "has changed," without providing any further details or reasons for the decision. Amazon.com Inc. will celebrate its third annual Prime Day, its biggest sales event of the year, on Tuesday, July 11. This year, Prime Day will start earlier at 6 pm PT/ 9 pm ET on Monday, July 10. This will give Prime members 30 hours to shop, instead of 24 hours. New deals will be as often as every five minutes, according to the company. Shares of Fred's Inc. tumbled more than 20 percent in pre-market trades Thursday after the company's agreement with Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. and Rite Aid Corp. to purchase 865 stores was terminated. The termination of the deal comes after Rite Aid and Walgreens Boots said they have mutually agreed to terminate their previous agreement under which Walgreens was to acquire Rite Aid.
