The Dutch trade surplus increased to EUR 4.1 billion in January from EUR 2.9 billion a year ago, data from Central Bureau of Statistics showed Tuesday.
The value of exports increased by 10 percent annually to EUR 35.3 billion. At the same time, imports climbed 7 percent to EUR 31.2 billion.
The volume of exports of goods rose 3 percent year-on-year and imports gained nearly 1 percent.
