Reba McEntire will be inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame. The legendary country star will also perform at the Bowl's opening night on June 22 with hosting duties performed by Julie Andrews.
According to the Hollywood Bowl's website, the Hall of Fame honors "those consummate creators and performers, who, through their talent and effort, have established themselves as true superstars — with appearances on screen, stage, recordings and at the Bowl — whose contributions to the arts have made them part of the fabric of American culture."
Garth Brooks, Stevie Wonder, Bonnie Raitt, George Harrison, B.B. King, Gloria Estefan, the Carpenters, Josh Groban, Liza Minnelli and others have been previously inducted into the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame.
Tickets for opening night are on sale at www.hollywoodbowl.com.
