Foo Fighters are making their earliest known festival sets available via web streaming, and are doing so in unconventional fashion with an "interactive cassette tape," featuring the band's first appearance at the UK's Reading Festival in 1995.
On one page of the Foo Fighters' website, there is a graphical representation of a classic tape player which, when moused over, fans can pop in a cassette tape then click the player door closed to load it into place, and then use the familiar buttons to play, rewind, fast-forward, and stop or pause the music.
The 1995 festival footage was recorded shortly after the band released their eponymous debut album.
Foo Fighters are heavily rumored as a headlining act for this year's Reading festival, which takes place in August.
