Jack White kicked off his tour in Chattanooga with a sell-out performance at the city's venue Track 29. White played a 90-minute set of new tracks, old tracks and tracks never played before to a crowd of 1,500.

It was the White Stripes front man's first ever solo headlining show.

"I've put off making records under my own name for a long time but these songs feel like they could only be presented under my name," White said in a press release. "These songs were written from scratch, had nothing to do with anyone or anything else but my own expression, my own colors on my own canvas."

White's solo debut, Blunderbuss, is due in April via his own Third Man record label.

His current run wraps after he crosses the pond for a pair of shows in London on June 23 and 24.
