Jennifer Hudson performed at the grand opening of the The Smith Centre for the Performing Arts in Las Vegas over the weekend, giving a rousing rendition of her hit "Take Care of This House."
J-Hud, 30, showed off her persistently slim figure in a long, sparkly black gown with see-through lace neckline. The dress was by Ralph & Russo.
Hudson was joined on stage by Martina McBride, with whom she took the stage during the 2011 Grammys for a tribute to Aretha Franklin.
Others on hand included Neil Patrick Harris, who hosted, and Cheyenne Jackson and Laura Osnes, who also dueted.
The Smith Centre's purpose is to provide residents of Las Vegas with a cultural outlet. The Smith Centre will also be the pivot of arts education in the community.
