Lionel Richie will perform at the SXSW festival with Kenny Rogers and several other surprise guests Wednesday, March 14 in Austin, Texas. The Billboard sponsored event takes place at ACL Live.
Richie and Rogers will team up for a performance of "Lady," a track Richie wrote for Rogers and which went to number one on the country charts in 1980.
"I will be joined by a surprise guest who will help me unveil music from Tuskegee," Lionel told Billboard, name checking his upcoming album of duets. "I can't think of a better way to launch this album than by sharing the new music at South By Southwest."
Tuskegee features collabs with some of country's biggest names including Shania Twain, Rascal Flatts and Darius Rucker; it's anyone's guess which will join him at SXSW.
