Gainers:

Scholastic Corp. (SCHL) is up over 8 percent to $34.98. The company's third quarter loss significantly narrowed from the previous year. Revenue rose 22 percent.

TravelCenters of America LLC (TA) is up 5 percent to $5.58. The company's fourth quarter net loss narrowed from the previous year. EBITDAR increased from the previous year.

Ross Stores, Inc. (ROST) is up 0.19 percent to $56.68. The company's fourth quarter profit and sales increased from the previous year and were in-line with Wall Street view. The company also projected respectable increases in both revenues and earnings per share in 2012 and beyond.

Apple Inc. (AAPL) is up over 1 percent to $598.60.

Decliners:

Vera Bradley, Inc. (VRA) is down 5 percent to $35.20. The company guided first quarter earnings per share below Wall Street view. The company also forecast fiscal 2012 revenue below consensus. However, the company's fourth quarter profit rose 41 percent from the year-ago quarter.

Guess?, Inc. (GES) is falling over 11 percent to $32.52. The company's fourth quarter profit declined 7 percent from the previous year. However, earnings per share came in line with analysts' estimate, but its quarterly revenue was below consensus. The company also provided a weak outlook.

Cisco (CSCO) is down 1 percent to $19.99. The company announced its intent to acquire NDS Group Ltd., a provider of video software and content security solutions, for approximately $5 billion, including the assumption of debt and retention-based incentives.
