Courtney Love has sounded off against Disney and the creators of the new Muppets movie for their use of the Nirvana song "Smells Like Teen Spirit."
The Hole rocker allegedly spoke with TMZ.com about her late husband Kurt Cobain's track in the film and says she's livid.
According to the site, Love says that Disney has "raped" Cobain's legacy by including his biggest hit in the whimsical film. Love also claims that she has authority to approve or deny the usage of Cobain's songs and that the license was never cleared.
Various sources report, however, that Courtney only holds rights to some songs, while an entity called Primary Wave Music holds the rest.
Love has also made headlines this week after she allegedly got U2 rocker Bono to serve as a reference for her new apartment in New York City. She was evicted by her last landlord for allegedly making unsanctioned changes to the property.
