Paul Simon headlines the Greenwich Town Party on May 26, according to the event's organizers. He joins fellow headliners, the Wailers, on the bill.
The Town Party, in its second year, is held to bring together the citizens of Greenwich, Connecticut for a day of family friendly fun.
A rep for the organization, speaking with GreenwichTime.com that Simon is an artist who appeals to all:
"I think he transcends generations."
"We felt that last year's event was very, very successful," Greenwich Parks and Recreation Director Joe Siciliano added. "I think it was well received by the townspeople and the people that participated and attended the event, and we're hopeful for the same turnout and the same type of response."
Other attractions include participation of local restaurants and BBQ and games.
