Pending a conclusive report from health officials, Dionne Warwick says she believes Whitney Houston death was the result of a heart attack.
She explained in an interview with Entertainment Tonight:
"You know, in all honesty, I think she had a heart attack. That's what I think happened to her. I think her heart just gave out."
When asked to comment on the speculation regarding Houston's drug and alcohol consumption, Warwick wavered:
"I don't know if that's it or not."
"It was a combination of things, stories, laughter, tears. All the emotions that you feel when somebody very near to you passes," she added, regarding the range of emotions she felt after her death.
Warwick is currently working on the recording of her as-yet-untitled 50th anniversary album.
