Goldie Hawn has corrected an earlier statement in which she revealed that her daughter Kate Hudson and Muse rocker Matt Bellamy had tied the knot.
During an interview with London Evening Standard's ES magazine, Hawn made mention of a possible wedding.
"My kids are fantastic with their children, they have an amazing parental ethic and I'm very proud of them for that," Hawn, 66, said. "When my daughter Kate married an English rock star [Matt Bellamy] it didn't worry me; all that matters is that the relationship is a good one. What people do is not necessarily who they are."
The news of Matt and Kate's wedding soon hit the web, but Goldie later took to Twitter to clarify the statement:
"Once again [the media] twisted the truth. They aren't married."
