IPC The Hospitalist Company, Inc. (IPCM: Quote) said Tuesday that it has completed the acquisition of Inpatient Clinical Solutions, Inc., an acute care practice headquartered in Coral Springs, Florida.

The acquisition represents IPC's continued expansion in South Florida, where the company already has an established presence.

IPC expects to add about 80,000 patient visits on an annualized basis from the acquisition.

The poll showed that 54 percent of Americans are following the news that the IRS targeted conservative groups for greater scrutiny "very" or "somewhat" closely.
