A bomb has exploded outside the Indonesian Embassy in Paris without causing any casualties, media reports citing local officials said on Wednesday.
The 5:45 a.m. pre-dawn blast is said to have caused serious damage to adjacent buildings in the French capital's affluent 16th district.
Officials said the explosion caused no casualties as it occurred when the streets of western Paris were relatively quiet. They said the package containing the bomb was left under the Embassy's windows.
Media reports citing unnamed police officials said the bag containing the bomb was discovered by an Embassy employee, who removed it from the building and called the police after seeing a canister attached to wires inside the package.
