Lithuania's industrial production growth accelerated in February, data from Statistics Lithuania showed Wednesday.
Industrial production increased an unadjusted 3.9 percent annually in February, after rising 2.3 percent in January. The latest figure is the highest since September 2011, when production increased 9.4 percent. After working-day adjustments, production declined 0.6 percent from a year ago.
Output in the mining and quarrying declined 18.2 percent annually in February, while manufacturing production climbed 4.1 percent in February.
Month-on-month, industrial output decreased 0.9 percent in February, after falling 3.5 percent in January. Production decreased for the second month in a row. On a seasonally adjusted basis, production decreased 3.1 percent.
