50 Cent has announced the release date for his new album after there being several delays and issues between him and his label.
"My album is coming out july 2. I got some heat trust me I'm ready," he tweeted.
The rapper's upcoming album will be the follow-up to 2009's Before I Self Destruct and his fifth album with Interscope Records. After the release of this album, his contract will be up for renewal.
Fiddy previously made threats towards his label on Twitter, telling them to release his record and, if not, he would release more free music:
"I got 3,500,000 views in 3 day on hands up. Ok I need a record deal jimmy iovine, call me early tomorrow or I'm putting out another mix tape."
Interscope has finally decided to release the record, with "I Just Wanna," which is a track off Fiddy's mixtape, The Big 10, being released to iTunes on March 26.
