The Indian rupee edged lower against its US counterpart on Thursday morning, hitting a fresh 2-month low of 50.89 around 9:50 am IST. This was down by more than 0.5 percent from Wednesday's close of 50.6250. On the downside, the rupee may find support around the 51.0 level.
