Eagles musician Glenn Frey and Tom Hanks are featured in video currently circulating the web in which the pair jest with a man in black face and African garb while making racist comments.

The event, a 2004 fundraiser at St. Matthew's Parish School in Pacific Palisades, California, featured investment banker James Montgomery black faced while Frey and Hanks crack wise.

"All I know, Jamie, is that this school is so conservative that Jamie Montgomery was almost not allowed in," Frey says. "They stuck him in the parking lot, they let him in. These are the jokes, people."

The Congress of Racial Equality has called on President Barack Obama to remove Hanks' narration from his campaign film. A rep for the organization called the incident "an orchestrated, heinous, and racist Stepin Fetchit routine that Mr. Hanks was a part of."
