Beck has released a new track, "Looking for a Sign," which appears on the soundtrack to the film Jeff Who Lives at Home. The mellow, country track has been compared to Harvest era Neil Young by several critics.

The Spin Doctors, the Respectables, Robert Walter and the Acorn are also featured on the same soundtrack.

Beck has not released a new studio album in four years.

He has, however, been announced as one of the headliners, alongside Jack White and Bon Iver, for the 11th annual Sasquatch Music Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington this Memorial Day Weekend (May 25-28).

The trio will be accompanied by a number of prominent indie rockers including Pretty Lights, Tenacious D, the Shins, Beirut, Girl Talk, the Roots, Feist, Metric, Explosions in the Sky, Mogwai, M. Ward, Childish Gambino, St. Vincent, Jamey Johnson, Wild Flag, Apparat, the Walkmen, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Mark Lanegan Band, Spiritualized, Blitzen Trapper, Grouplove, and Ted Leo and the Pharmacists.
